For Buyers

Upward Exits is fully invested in the long-term success of the buyers of the businesses we list.  Upward Exits works with buyers of businesses over $500K to create a migration, marketing and outsourcing plan.  We also will provide 10 hours of consulting services over the first year.

For Sellers

Looking at potentially selling your digital business?  We offer complimentary consulting services to sellers who sign a listing contract with us. This consulting is typically focused around making your business as desirable as possible to buyers.

For A Fee

We have been approached by past clients with the request for consulting services.  Because of this demand, our partners are now offer marketing, supply chain and disposition consulting to qualified businesses for a fee.

Ad Hoc

One of the Upward Exits partners will work on your digital business for 60 hours.  This hours can be used throughout several months if data needs to be gathered to complete the project.

Your representative can work with you to develop a new digital marketing plan or create a digital marketing plan for you from scratch.  

We can also refer you to reputable marketing agencies for businesses that want to outsource their marketing. 

Our two most common recommendations  we make to business owners who are looking to grow aggressively are to look to vertically integrate and create business synergies. 

By integrating supply chains and partnering with businesses that offer products and services to similar customers, many businesses can see sustainable growth with little capital investment.

The majority of our revenue still comes from business disposition.  

We work with buyers and sellers to drive top and bottom line growth while decreasing the hours required from the business management team.  

Through our experience, we have found that passive, profitable businesses will always demand the highest valuation.

Quarterly

$ 6,000 / Month

One of the Upward Exits partners will work on your digital business for 80 hours per month.  This strategy is typically better for businesses over $5M in revenue that have multiple areas to address.

Your representative can work with you to develop a new digital marketing plan or create a digital marketing plan for you from scratch.  

We can also refer you to reputable marketing agencies for businesses that want to outsource their marketing.

The Long Term Approach

Because we have always been focused on the long-term success of the businesses we work with, we are now offering consulting services to all businesses we broker. We also offer fee based consulting services to other qualifying digital businesses.

Brokers that do consulting?  

We decided to offer consulting services after we saw repeated requests from digital business owners.  Typically, people who had either sold a business with us and then started another endeavor; or, buyers of one of our businesses would contact us after doing business previously and have a list of questions.

Our role as brokers has enabled us to see behind the curtain of several well run businesses in different models.  We strive to pass this unique knowledge on to our consulting clients.

Consulting personalized for your business.

Because consulting is not our main source of revenue, we have a great deal of flexibility in what types and sizes of businesses we work with.

We are open to addressing any concern or potential opportunity that your digital business may have. However, we see that most clients needs fall into one or more of three main areas.  Businesses either need help driving down their customer acquisition cost through digital marketing, looking to cut cost through partnerships and synergies or are looking to expand or cut costs throughout their supply chain.

Our consulting services are offered solely by our Partners. 

Because consulting is such a high-touch business and places a high premium on industry expertise, it is only offered by our two co-founding partners.

Consulting clients will be assured of the industry expertise of the representative they are working with.

Because we only offer consulting services from our co-founders/ partners and consulting is the minority of Upward Exit’s business, we only work with a select group of clients.  

Our typical consulting client is either a venture capital backed tech company or another digital business that has over $3M in EBITDA.
